Whats happening this term

Messingham Show – Sunday 5th June 2022:
The children and classes at Messingham will be entering this year’s Scarecrow Competition which is part of the Messingham Show activities.
Messingham School will have their own gallery of children’s work to help celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the history of Messingham itself that you can visit during the day, which is also sponsored by The Cookie People.
Messingham Primary Summer Fete – Friday May 27th. 
Classes and Y6 pupils will have stalls and activities.
Small businesses can also make a donation to school fund to have their own stall (school appropriate) – contact if you require any further information about this.

At last our scarecrows are completed and in place. We have loved getting involved with the Messingham Show competition this year. The children are also looking forward to seeing some around the village.


5M enjoyed digging holes thus week in English. Their action descriptions were brilliant, describing how Stanley might have felt from our class book 'holes'.


Our girls have had the best journey this year. We started playing as some of us were still learning the rules. We’ve had incredible help and support and our confidence is building. You were all buzzing today. You had some great goals, brilliant play and smiles on your faces!

Our 5/6 boys made me so proud today! We had a tricky start with a loss and then a draw but we pulled together and became an incredible team with excellent passing, goals and effort from all. You really deserve this boys! Thank you Neil for coaching them through the year! 🎉🏆⚽️
